Introduction

Welcome! This blog was created as a stepping stone to the actual site. If you're reading this then I can assure you that I've put some thought into why I invited you. This is all I've been thinking about for the past two months and it's developed into a bit of a healthy obsession. I never really intended for this to be something I ventured into by myself. Why? Well for one it's very fulfilling on several levels to be a part of something with people you care about and enjoy. Secondly, I felt you had something to offer to this venture. Thirdly, did I mention that I simply like you? So, without further ado:

Beanstock.com is an e-commerce site that will based out of Anaheim, CA (TBD) that will provide a unique platform for members to exchange goods through an artificial currency of our choosing; in this case it’s beans. The user is able to stock up on beans either through auctioning, trading, working, or even donating items.

Beanstock.com offers our members the flexibility to get items they want while allowing them to fulfill their charitable deeds. Beans can be purchased via paypal (or some other method) if one manages to run out of items to auction or trade and is motivated to bid on an item he/she wants.

Unlike other auction and trade sites Beanstock.com will not only have a fun theme but its flexibility and various options to both gather beans and exchange/donate goods is unmatched for both member and any potential companies wishing to use our site as a means to advertise or gain potential clients.

What do you think? I plan on having a story behind the site as well. Beans are a symbol of the poor man's version of money. In light of most people in today's economy having very little of actual money, why not make it beans? It's also symbolic for my mini-rebellion against the governments incompetence in all things financial. =P
